A former lecturer in Film and Cultural Studies based in Manchester (UK), I have been a creative/commercial independent filmmaker since 2005.
As well as short dramas, music videos and commercial promos, my filmography includes a trilogy of music documentaries called The Beyond Series: Iceland: Beyond Sigur Ros (2010), Manchester: Beyond Oasis (2012) and Liverpool: Beyond The Beatles (2015).
My critically acclaimed debut feature film, ‘Nobody Loves You and You Don’t Deserve to Exist’ (2022), is a semi-autobiographical exploration of masculinity, social class, power, morality, identity and storytelling in the North of England.
